Coronavirus Precautionary measures

In view of the current situation with the coronavirus – as a museum and meeting place – we have taken our responsibility. We closely follow the latest developments regarding the spread of the coronavirus in the Netherlands. The government measures that are in place may change at any point in the future.

Sound and Vision The Hague’s measures

When visiting Sound and Vision The Hague, your health and safety and that of our employees come first. To ensure this, we have taken the following necessary measures:

  • If you show signs of illness, we request that you stay home.
  • Social distancing applies throughout the museum. This means the 1.5-metre measure applies.  The museum will only allow a limited number of visitors in the building at a time. Clear walking routes and lines indicating 1.5-metres distance are in place in the building.
  • We have taken various hygiene and safety measures, which are in line with the advice of the National Institute of Public Health (RIVM), the Dutch government and the Netherlands Museum Association.  The museum is frequently cleaned and disinfectant gel is available at different locations in the museum.

Cancelling or rescheduling meetings & events

Sound and Vision The Hague always follows the Dutch Government’s guidelines. If the government imposes a ban on meetings in the same period that your meeting is scheduled, you may cancel your reservation free of charge.

If you cancel an event in a period when no ban applies, we will offer to reschedule it to a later date in 2020. This is done in consultation with you. Any cancellation charges can be used as a deposit for the same event that is rescheduled at a later date in 2020.

We look forward to the day when we can receive everyone in our wonderful building in a normal way again. For now, on behalf of our entire team, I wish you the best of health, happiness and wisdom!
